Personality

Blunt | Friendly | Oblivious | Self conscious | Mild

Briar is about as obliviously blunt as they come. He never means any harm but can come off as rude or just plain cruel, when in reality he's trying to be helpful and nice. He'd rather you tell him if you aren't comfortable or okay with something he says (he'd rather know so he wont do it again). Briar is also super friendly, he likes to know everyone and anyone. He also likes to be helpful in anyway he can be, although if he cant directly help you he'll usually try and guide you to someone who can. If obliviousness wasn't already obvious in his bluntness he's also completely blind to things such as; flirting, sexual remarks, people that are romantically interested in him, some forms of sarcasm and false friendliness/compliments. All in all be very upfront with him, it'll probably go better for you. While he is nice and friendly and loves people he has a hard time repressing his self consciousness. It's mostly his lisp and underbite that bother him but he does have other issues he doesn't really like to address. His nature is pretty mild and it's extremely hard to get him angry.

Esther is a very loving and loyal allmate. Her love extends outside of just Briar. She's very supportive and always knows the right things to say (unlike briar). She tries to keep Briar and his mouth out of trouble as much as possible but it can be hard for one allmate all by themself. She can be a bit sarcastic at the worst but only if she doesn't like the person. She's like an old worn out mom and likely to bite(or try) anyone that tries to hurt Briar or his friends. She looks very androgynous in her rhyme avatar.

History

Briar grew up without any siblings but did have lots and lots of cousins. More than he knew what to do with. Seriously he cant even name all of them. Briar did have trouble with bullying because of his lisp, although it wasn't from any of the neighborhood kids it spurred from his own family. He went from a kid who thought nothing of his speech to someone that loathed and found everything he said to be awkward and gross. As he grew older he distanced himself as much as he could from his family, his parents never blamed him. When he was old enough he moved out and as far from his family as he could (not that he disliked his parents but they sorta all lived in the same general area). He learned that the real world is hard to get by in but he keeps an upbeat look on it as of right now.
